Founder - Johan van der Merwe
Johan van der Merwe founded Limber Brokers in 1996, after a career of 16 years as a senior officer in the SANDF HR Division. He holds a B Mil (Commercial Sciences) degree from the University of Stellenbosch. He is an approved financial services provider, properly registered with the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA).
Jackie Van Der Merwe
Jackie van der Merwe is the Office Manager for Limber Brokers. She manages the general administrative duties and handles all the Deceased Estate Administration.
Jennifer James
Jennifer James joined the brokerage in June 2024 after a very successful term of nearly 6 years as a Sanlam Financial Adviser.
During this time, she received recognition with various awards. During her first year of service, she qualified for the prestigious Falcon award and in her second year she was ranked in the Top 20 positions within South Africa.
She went on to achieve Eagle membership in the following year and her Iron Eagle award in 2022.
She is a fully qualified Financial Adviser (RE5) and obtained a National Certificate in Wealth Management. In addition to all aspects of long-term financial planning, Jennifer also specialises in Employee Benefit Schemes and Business Assurance.
